Breathing New Life - Why Are Carburetor Cars Saving More Gas?

Up until the 1980's all cars on the roads ran using carburetors. Nowadays and overwhelming majority of modern cars are fitted with electronic fuel injection (EFI) and engine control units (ECU) to manage a car's fuel efficiency. With the rise in oil prices, even consumers are pressing older cars to consume even less gas than it was designed to do. Read on to see how it is being done.

What are carburetors?

Carburetors are mechanical devices that blend air and fuel into a fine mist that is drawn into an internal combustion engine to be used as energy. Depending on the amount of air being drawn into the engine, the carburetor makes use of air pressure differentials within the engine to draw an amount of fuel into the engine.

This vacuum principle is based on the Bernoulli Principle which states that the faster air moves, the lower its static pressure and the higher its dynamic pressure. In layman's terms, air rushes in to fill a vacuum, as the air goes into the engine, air pressure in the narrowest part of the carburetor is even lower, drawing in fuel from the narrow area, creating what is called a venture effect.

The speed of air entering the engine determines the amount of fuel sucked into the engine as well. Engine throttles directly control the amount of air, and indirectly the amount of fuel entering the engine.

Advantages of a carbureted engine

Carbureted engines require little to no knowledge of electronics.

A wrench and a screwdriver alone may be enough to fix a problem with a carbureted car to get it running smoothly and quietly. Modern cars, on the other hand, require that the ECU and EFI systems be taken into account for problems encountered. If the ECU or EFI is causing the error, it will take some time, be costly or both to reprogram or replace.

So how do I save more gas with my old jalopy?

Consider this. Assume that everything is constant in a carbureted car: engine operation, tires, fuel, handling, spark plugs, carburetor. All are working as designed. You didn't replace anything with 3rd party high performance parts and you didn't put in high octane gas in the tank.

If nothing else, you can improve the quality of air that goes into the engine. And this has been proven with a hydrogen-on-demand system or HHO system.

The carburetor was replaced by EFI because it was considered less fuel efficient. It actually made sense to switch to a modern car because you could go only so far with a mechanical solution.

Or so we all thought.

What if there's a very simple technology that doesn't even require you to know all about engines, open the engines, or even adjust the carburetor? You don't have to fiddle with the electrical and it's not even expensive?

What if we tell you can build it with everyday hardware items?

This will change the way you look at older cars. The solution lies in simple H2O. Water.

What does water have to do with saving gas?

Water when subjected to electrolysis will split into its component parts hydrogen and oxygen. Research has shown that if these two split components are introduced in a combustion chamber with fuel, it releases more energy.

What this means is that you can use hydrogen and oxygen, more famously known as "oxyhydrogen" or HHO, or Brown's Gas to make your car run further with less gas. Hundreds of brave souls in the US and Europe have experimented on this method for years. They finally came up with a hydrogen-on-demand system that draws power from the batteries to provide HHO to the engines only when it's needed.

Here are some facts:

-HHO has 3 times more energy than gas
-Each gallon of water when converted has 1866 gallons worth of HHO
-Hydrogen acts as a catalyst in an air-fuel mixture, making even easier to burn. This means fuel doesn't need to cannibalize its own energy to burn. Hydrogen does the job.

Results from real users showed that this technology dovetails nicely with carbureted engines. Just hook it up and within minutes you will find the following results:

-The engine becomes quieter due to the higher octane rating caused by the hydrogen

-Water vapor comes out the exhaust as a result of HHO reacting in the mixture

-Exhaust emissions smell less of carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide as HHO burns the mixture more completely and requires less fossil fuel in every cycle.

-Mileage increases by 12%-70% depending on make, model, driver attitude, and supporting devices

This breakthrough breathed new life in older cars. The HHO has an added effect of cleaning the insides of the engine and ejecting them out of the exhaust. Because the mixture burns more completely, less pollution is emitted by these "outdated" and "junk" vehicles.

What is the delivery method?

HHO generators in the market all have one thing in common. They only produce HHO on-demand. This means that the system is totally safe from accidental catastrophic explosions due to leaks in pure hydrogen systems. Electricity consumed requires nothing more than the average car battery and the gas required to get such amazing results is very small to create a large energy output.

If needed, you just need to make small adjustments to the amount of fuel you feed to the engines, and that's it. As long as HHO is being generated by the system, less fuel is needed every combustion cycle, giving better mileage, less emissions, and more power.

Furthermore, installation requires minimal modification and expense. At its most basic configuration, an HHO generator can hooked to the air filter and a controller to modify the car's Engine Control Unit will cost between $100-$300 USD.

In conclusion

If you want to keep on driving your 15- to 20-year old car with pride, install an HHO system. It's affordable and parts are cheaper than anything offered in the market. No need for expensive refills, in-the-dark explanations, and running around the bush. For the serious consumer looking to improve his mileage without needing extensive modification or voiding the warranty, HHO is an excellent alternative.

Misdiagnosis of Patients Unchanged Since 1930

You might think that with all the advances in Western medicine that misdiagnosis has become a rare occurrence. That's not the case.

I recently read an article that appeared in the New York Times in February 2006, that stated that autopsies have shown that doctors seriously misdiagnose fatal illnesses about 20 percent of the time. Millions of patients are being treated for the wrong disease. The 20 percent rate of misdiagnosis has not really changed since the 1930s. No Improvement! was how an article in the normally exclamation free journal of the American Medical Association summarized the situation. One seventh of our economy is devoted to health care and yet misdiagnosis is killing thousands of Americans every year.

Under the current medical system, doctors, nurses, lab technicians, and hospital executives are not actually paid to come up with the right diagnosis. Believe it or not, they are paid to perform tests and to do surgery and to dispense prescription drugs.

There is no bonus for curing someone and no penalty for failing, except when the mistake rise to the level of malpractice. So even though doctors have the best intentions, they have little economic incentive to spend time double checking their instincts, and hospitals have little incentive to give them the tools to do so.

Knowing this information, at a minimum, I would encourage you to get a second opinion if you find yourself facing an issue. Remember, knowledge is power. Research can also be very helpful in this situation. It is important to find a professional who truly takes quality time to asses all aspects of what may be impacting your health. Physical, mental, emotional and spiritual issues may manifest themselves in the physical body.
